Engagement sessions allow the opportunity for us to get to know each other and shoot together before the wedding day. Maybe we go to where you proposed, or where you first met. Or it can be a hike through a forest, a canoe on a lake, or something in between. You can also use the engagement photos on your invites or save the date cards!

Engagement sessions usually last 1.5 hours and I'll deliver around 60-80 photos via online private gallery.

A rush fee is a an optional add on if you really crave seeing those final photos asap! Beyond sending sneak peeks within 24 hours after I leave your wedding, a rush fee will speed up the final gallery delivery from 4-6 weeks to 1 week!

Second photographers are great if you're having more than 100 people, or if you just want that extra coverage. They are especially helpful during a getting ready portion of the day and the ceremony. If you are both getting ready at different locations, it's impossible for one me to capture both. So in that case, it is helpful to have a second. For the ceremony, it's great having a second photographer to get different angles and more photos of those 'high stakes' moments that won't ever happen again. I also enjoy working alone and for most intimate weddings you won't need a second photographer.

All the packages have the option of adding extra hours if you need. However, you don't need to decide right away if you need an extra hour or not. I can help you determine that after booking and into your planning stage.

How do we decide what package to go for?

Think about what you want covered on your day such as getting ready photos, ceremony, family portraits, bride & groom portraits, reception, speeches, first dance, etc. The Essential Beauty package for example is my most popular, which has 8 hours of coverage and an engagement session. 8 hours of coverage will usually cover getting ready, ceremony, family portraits, bride & groom portraits, reception, speeches, first dance, and sunset photos of the bride & groom. 6 hours usually covers ceremony, family portraits, bride & groom portraits, and part of the reception, while 10 hours covers everything the 8 hour does, plus more of the party and dancing at the end of the night!

In general, the following are good time frames to use for photography on your wedding day:

Getting Ready: 1 hour

Family Portraits: 30 - 45 minutes

Wedding Party: 30 minutes

Bride & Groom: 1 hour - 1 hour and 15 minutes

how do we book with you?

If you know the package you want right away, shoot me an email and I'll send you the booking invoice and contract! Once payment is sent and we sign the contract, your date is booked! If after reading this guide you don't know which package would be right, hit the link below to book a discovery call and we can run through what your needs are, I'll ask you questions, and tell you which one is best for you.

After booking I will send you an email with next steps, your client portal, and an online wedding questionnaire that you can use to help plan your day. We will also schedule a phone call to go over your wedding schedule a month or so out from the day to make sure things flow smoothly. After that, the next step is your wedding day!

do you offer payment plans?

Yes! The standard payment plan includes the booking deposit which is 50% of the package price, followed by the remaining 50% due on your wedding day with the final invoice being sent out a month before your date.

The other option is to split the payment into three. The booking deposit will be 33% of the package price, with the second payment due 6 months before your wedding date, and the final payment due on your wedding day.

I love to give my couples some sneak peeks a few days after their wedding! Usually around 5-10 photos to start with.

Your final gallery will then be delivered within 8 weeks.

How long do we have to wait to get our full gallery of images?
